More excitement! Woohoo!
Let's fill up the place!

Yesterday we drove to Mountainair to invite Fr Jordan and the parishioners from the St. Alice Parish to join us at the retreat.
We got there a little early for mass. We relaxed and shared as we waited.
Mass was wonderful. Fr. Jordan spent a little time talking with us after mass. Thank you Fr. Jordan! šš¼ššš¼
Fr. Jordan said he would announce the retreat at mass and took some flyers to hand out. Thank you Fr. Jordan.

We stopped at the Quarai Ruins for a nice picnic. If you have not visited there yet, it's a great way to spend a quiet day away from it all. Before you go, look up the story of the Lady in Blue. (Here's a link to some info. Very interesting.) Mary of Agreda

We also drove by St Vincent de Paul Church in Punta de Agua. Notice the years these churches were established.

We went through Manzano where Nuestra Senora de Dolores Church is.

We also drove by San Antonio Church in Torreon.

A little further and we are back in our Parish area. Below is the Church of San Antonio in Tajique.

It was a nice drive visiting some more of our Catholic treasures.
Most especially it is wonderful to celebrate mass with other parishioners, and Fr Jordan. Plus, we continue our sharing and growing in our faith as we drive and share a meal together.
It is so true that we are blessed when we get out of our comfort zone and go out to do work for our Lord. He blesses us along the way.
Then..., come home, unload, and head to my great-nephew's softball game. Guess where? At the base of the Sandia Mountains! šš¼ššš¼ Are the mountains calling or what?!
While there, I was surprised by a wonderful visit with a friend who recently returned from a 2 year missionary trip to Peru. Nice right!
Are you seeing how God works in all this?
I'm looking forward to hearing how God is working in your lives as well.
